The victim, who is 20 years old, told police that the incident began about 10:30 p.m. when he parked his car near 194th Street and 75th Avenue in Fresh Meadows and was approached by a stranger who began a conversation with him.

Police added that one of the attackers began stabbing him in the upper body and arm while the other two attempted to remove the jacket containing $41,000 from his person.

As a result of the victim’s resistance, the suspects eventually gave up and fled the area in a white Cadillac XT5, according to authorities.

The victim sustained nine knife wounds to his arm and chest and was transported to New York-Presbyterian Hospital by emergency medical services in stable condition.
