BBC Sport Presenter Emma Jones Shares Clip Before Wardrobe Malfunction at Leicester City’s Training Ground

BBC Sport presenter Emma Jones has shared a clip from an interview with footballers Harry Souttar and Wout Faes just moments before her blue jumpsuit split down the front, forcing her to cover herself with a Sainsbury’s carrier bag.

The wardrobe malfunction occurred earlier this month while Jones was filming at Leicester City’s training ground.

Fortunately, the jumpsuit held together during the interview, which focused on whether the centre-back pair liked coriander.

Jones subsequently posted footage from the shoot on social media, along with an explanation that the split happened “post-interview”.

Jones revealed the mishap to her followers on social media, stating that the jumpsuit split from the top down to her belly button.

She had to walk from the training ground to her car with the outfit split, before driving home with a carrier bag protecting her modesty.

Last October, Jones had also shared that she had accidentally honked her car horn with her breasts while driving her BMW 1 series.

The incident highlights the challenges presenters and journalists face while filming in live settings, where wardrobe malfunctions can happen unexpectedly.

Jones’ relatable and humorous approach to the situation on social media may have helped to diffuse any embarrassment, and may have even generated positive reactions from her followers.

The incident also serves as a reminder that wardrobe malfunctions can happen to anyone, including public figures.
