Baldwin says he will not be charged in the Rust shooting

Speaking to CNN, Alec Baldwin expressed his doubt that he, the armourer, or the prop master would be prosecuted for the gunshot that claimed the life of cameraman Halyna Hutchins. The actor says that the whole procedure has shorten his life by years.

Baldwin claims that the FBI has yet to do a fingerprint analysis on the live bullets that killed Halyna Hutchins in order to ascertain how they got into the set.

Alec Baldwin has continued to accuse Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the armourer, and Seth Kenney, the prop master, of being responsible for the live bullets finding up in the pistol.

The armorer on the disastrous set of the Alec Baldwin film Rust says the FBI still has not tested the live rounds that killed Halyna Hutchins for fingerprints to find out how they ended up on set

Prosecutors in New Mexico must determine whether or not to file criminal charges against Baldwin in connection with the accident that happened in October, and Baldwin is awaiting their decision.

They have not yet made a choice, and they are undoubtedly considering the devastating FBI assessment from last week, which said that Baldwin could not have accidentally fired the pistol.

He especially attributed the stress on former President Donald Trump, who Baldwin was well-known for playing on Saturday Night Live.

“There is simply this deluge of people assaulting me who don’t know the facts,” Baldwin said.

On a radio programme in November of last year, Trump made the absurd remark that Baldwin had loaded the pistol in addition to firing it.

The former 30 Rock performer insisted in an Instagram post that he did not pull the trigger; instead, he primed the pistol and drew back the hammer. He continued to blame Reed and Kenney for the incident.

The first statement in this piece is the most crucial portion, he continued on Friday on social media.

The former 30 Rock star continued to blame Reed (pictured) and Kenney for the shooting, arguing - and emphasizing in an Instagram post - that he cocked the gun and pulled back its hammer but did not pull the trigger

My claim that a cocked pistol just went off without pressing the trigger has never been made by anybody. Never once was the gun cocked. Never.

Without cocking the gun, the hammer was drawn back as far as it would go. It was released, and the pistol went off. No cock. no pulling of the trigger. Only pull back the hammer, then let go. Who loaded the weapon with a live round?

The defence counsel for Gutierrez Reed, Jason Bowles, said that more research into Kenney’s involvement in the shooting was necessary.

With a statement, Bowles said: “We concur with Mr. Baldwin and think Seth Kenney, the main ammo dealer, mixed live bullets and blank rounds in the ammunition supplied to Rust.

We have once again requested that the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office and FBI examine the live rounds for DNA and fingerprints in order to determine their origin.

They still haven’t responded to this crucial issue, which has to be resolved in order to get the whole truth about what occurred.

In the course of the interview, Baldwin persisted in asking inquiries of both Gutierrez Reed and assistant director Dave Halls.

Jason Bowles, Gutierrez Reed's attorney, agreed that more needed to be done to investigate Kenney's role in the shooting of Hutchins (pictured on the set of Rust)

Why did she not verify that bullet? What made Halls disobey her? He gave me the gun, but why? What made him not check? Why did he inform the crew that the pistol was cold? ‘

Baldwin is trying to transfer responsibility, according to Halls’ attorney Lisa Torraco: “Baldwin is throwing the finger at others since the evidence is pointing at him.”

Halls is not at fault. Everyone must halt. Halls is only being blamed because people don’t want to take responsibility for their errors. Halls has been victimised. People should consider the available data.

The actor was seen earlier this week enjoying lunch at Clam Bar in Montauk Hamptons while dressed casually in a black t-shirt, navy blue shorts, and shoes.

Following the release of the FBI investigation, Baldwin has just made a comeback. Hutchins’ widower, meanwhile, was seen this week carrying things out of a female friend’s Hollywood house.

The actor claimed he had become weary of waiting for the prosecution to make a decision in an interview with Chris Cuomo for his new YouTube programme, The Chris Cuomo Project, but that his lawyer had advised him not to press for one.

The interview seems to have been recorded prior to the FBI report’s release, but it wasn’t until Tuesday morning that it was made public.

Baldwin and Cuomo, who is attempting a return after being dismissed by CNN last year, commiserated over what they regarded as an unjust and possessed media that is out to get them. Baldwin specifically targeted The New York Post and “everything [Rupert] Murdoch” [owned] in his remarks.

I used to believe that police officers would read the Post for the sports section, but when I discovered that other people also read it, I was startled.

He illustrated his argument with a peculiar example.

They would accuse me of groping Barbara Bush if I swam into a frozen pond to rescue her life after she had fallen through the ice. They’d claim that when I was removing her from the water, I pinched her breast.

No matter what you do, those who want to harm you will still do so, he said.

These individuals despise liberals who are capable of verbal combat.

Baldwin continued by saying that while he was angry about what had occurred, Hutchins was the “true” victim.

To be clear, I am not the victim in this situation. Things are going to improve and clear up for me. 100 percent confident

“This lady cannot be brought back by anything.” She’s gone. She has a son child.

The actual tragedy is this. I, the press, don’t care what we have stated. The main tragedy in this situation, in my opinion, is what happened to this lady.

The ones yelling “loudest” about what they believe occurred weren’t present, according to Baldwin, who added that “everyone on set knows what happened that day.”

“Everyone is waiting for the sheriff’s report, but the DA is not constrained by it; the DA may still file charges.”

Everyone on the movie set is aware of what transpired as we wait impatiently for that report.

The LA Times and the Hollywood Reporter often speculate about “what if this” and “what if that” and are among the loudest voices discussing what occurred or what may have happened.

They had a meal together and had one thing in common: nobody was present. Everyone who was there at the time is fully aware of what occurred and the parties responsible.

Baldwin’s lawyer earlier on Thursday said that the FBI report had been “misconstrued.”

Baldwin on the set of the movie Rust. He says the 'only' question to ask is who handed him a gun loaded with a live round

“The FBI report is being interpreted wrong.” When the hammer was pushed back during testing, the pistol only ever shot once without the need to pull the trigger, and the gun cracked in two distinct locations.

The FBI was unable to fire the pistol in any previous test since it was in such bad shape, he said, even while pushing the trigger.
