Australian tourist warns fellow holidaymakers against wine prices

A tourist from Australia has warned fellow holidaymakers, advising them to check the prices of drinks before ordering after accidentally purchasing a bottle of wine that cost more than their entire Bali holiday.

The tourist, who was celebrating their partner’s birthday, had ordered the bottle of wine, thinking it would only cost $170, but was charged $2,000.

The mistake was due to a misunderstanding the exchange rate and how prices were displayed on the menu.

The tourist only realized the error after checking their bank account the following day.

Despite the shock, they saw the funny side of the situation and shared their experience on social media, where other users sympathized and shared similar stories of their mistakes.
