Atlassian is hiring 1,032 new employees who can work remotely

Australian IT company Atlassian is looking to hire over 1,000 new employees and is willing to allow them to work remotely.

In order to emphasize his argument, the co-founder of the software firm, Scott Farquhar, went on the road for a recruiting drive on Wednesday.

The 1,032 new employees that Atlassian is seeking will have positions in research and development.

According to a statement from the firm, “Many Australians may realize a goal in tech without having to migrate because to Atlassian’s work from anywhere policy (Team Anywhere).”

According on jobs and experience, the average income ranges between $100,000 and $150,000.

Farquhar and Mike Cannon-Brookes launched Atlassian in 2002 when they were students at the University of NSW, and it has since evolved to become the largest software company in Australia.

The company’s hiring campaign started in Martin Place in Sydney but quickly turned into a road trip.

Canberra, Wollongong, Melbourne, Adelaide, Newcastle, Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast will all be visited by the so-called “AtlassiVan.”

In certain areas, according to Atlassian, “emerging technological talent has been recognized.”

The corporation was valued at over US$100 billion when its Nasdaq-listed shares reached a record high of $483.13 in November of last year.

The stock price plunged by 60% to $162.49 on May 18 as a result of the catastrophic US tech sell-off, but it has subsequently risen to $236.21.

However, it is well below the $389.94 that each share was valued at this time last year.

The software giant, whose key benefit is that it provides financial help to personnel to build up their perfect workplace, scored third in the big firm category of Australia’s Best Workplaces list in 2022.

Staff only need to meet in person for collaboration four times a year and are free to work from anywhere at any time.

If they commute to work on a bicycle, the firm will pay for up to an agreed-upon sum of maintenance, accessories, and rentals.
