Arthur Zwane, the head coach of the Kaizer Chiefs, has stated that the club will not enter the market to buy players during the current January transfer window.
The Golden Arrows have made it plain that their winger is available, but it is evident that Chiefs are seeking other players. The Chiefs are now 13 points behind Sundowns in the title battle, and we have reached the midpoint of the 2022/23 season.
Kaizer Chiefs were never in contention for the championship.
“We will always pursue any quality player who is available, but it depends… Obviously, we want to acquire players who can offer value and withstand pressure, he told iDiski Times of their transfer ambitions.
“When we look at the good players we currently have, we believe it’s important to give them a chance to prove themselves.”
“Because of this, you can’t be particular about where we want to strengthen. In the middle, we still have George, Cole, Nange, and the young Zwane has been performing quite well, so we’re still covered.
“But if we find another good defensive midfielder, why not? We’ll bring him on board without a doubt, and the same goes for a striker; we’re just looking for players who can add value to the team.”
