According to reports, Brazilian-born striker Gabriel Jesus and his partner Raiane Lima have separated just months after expecting their first child.
The Daily Star reports that the Arsenal player and the model began dating in July 2021. Eight months ago, when Jesus, then 25 years old, was still playing for Manchester City, the couple welcomed their daughter Helena Jesus.
Raiane broke the unexpected news in an Instagram post that has since been deleted. The Instagram influencer disclosed that external pressures were responsible for their breakup.
According to Raiane, the decision to deliver the news herself was made to prevent the spread of rumors. She stated that she does not care what anyone thinks about the situation.
“Before rumors spread, I would want to inform you that Gabriel and I are no longer a couple. And anyone desires to judge may do so. Anyone who wishes to speak negatively may do so. “Since some enjoy disgrace, I announce the end of something that nearly consumed me myself,” Jesus’ partner wrote.
The 21-year-old also encouraged her family to rejoice, implying that they are the ones straining their relationship.
“Whoever desires to celebrate may do so” (especially family members). “After this post, you can rest assured that I will never again discuss what we went through or any topic related to our daughter,” she said.
The Brazilian model went on to emphasize that pressure from external forces, not treachery, was the reason for her breakup with Jesus.
“It wasn’t a betrayal; pressure from everyone and everything was to blame. We got along okay, but other people’s troubles often brought us down. I can’t take it anymore, and I won’t push myself to continue doing something that’s hurting me.”
The beauty also deleted all of her Jesus-related Instagram photos.
