Joey Desisto was overcome with sorrow at the tree where his 16-year-old son Antonio and four of his 14- and 15-year-old friends were slain. Tyrese Bechard, Summer Williams, Lily Van De Putte, and Gabrielle McLennan were also killed.

Tuesday evening at 8 p.m., a Nissan Navara ute carrying five people drove off the road near Buxton, 100 kilometers southwest of the city, and crashes into a tree.

The single survivor, 18-year-old driver Tyrell Edwards, was detained Wednesday evening and transported to the Narellan police station.

Mr. Desisto and his wife Belinda appeared at the crash site on Wednesday afternoon, where the bereaved father placed a pair of white sneakers and a hoodie belonging to Antonio at the base of the damaged tree trunk.

On Wednesday, Joey Desisto and his wife Belinda, shown on the right, made a heartbreaking pilgrimage to the crash site.

They memorialized their son with flowers and his white sneakers and sweatshirt.

Parents Joey and Belinda Desisto embraced with passion as they played music in memory of their son.

Joey Desisto, dressed in blue, fell to his knees at the tree where his kid and four other companions died, stricken with grief.

Joey Desisto, in the center, was distraught at the crash site.

The kid had recently left Picton High School to begin an apprenticeship in carpentry.

His father then poured a can of Red Bull soft drink over the flower tributes placed at the base of the tree in memory of the deceased children.

The saddened father fell to his knees and wailed as he was encircled by family members who hugged and grieved, while his wife shrieked “NO” in grief.

Mr. Desisto then stood up and walked around the crash site, feeling his way through the grass to collect some of the scattering debris caused by the collision.

Tuesday evening about 8 p.m., Antonio Desisto was killed in an automobile accident. He was in the van with six others.

Tuesday night in southwest Sydney, a Nissan Navara pickup went off the road and drove into a tree; 18-year-old Tyrell Edwards (pictured) has been detained.

Friends and family had to comfort his widow as she emotionally reached out to touch the tree where their son had died.

It is thought that the ute rolled onto its side and collided with the tree, collapsing the cabin and killing the five teenagers inside.

The family remained at the place for half an hour as they had their own private tribute, holding hands and playing the Lynyrd Skynyrd song “Simple Man.”

Mr. Desisto then sat on the ground and hugged his wife at the terrible location as Purple Rain by Prince and Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd played.

A smashed green P plate was a devastating reminder of the tragedy at the scene.

At the crash site, bereaved friends and family gathered and offered each other comfort.

The awful scene was unbearable for the parents who were already grieving.

Friends and family had to comfort Belinda Desisto as she emotionally stretched out to touch the tree where their son had perished.

A young woman believed to be Tyrese Bechard’s relative placed a pair of football boots at the scene.

John van de Putte, the father of victim Lily, told the ABC that he “holds no grudges” against driver Tyrell Edwards since “he will go through hell.”

Mr. Edwards, a recent Picton High School graduate, was arrested for obligatory blood and urine tests but is not currently in police custody. Upon being breathalyzed at the scene, he produced a negative result.

As of Wednesday morning, he was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries in a hospital in Liverpool. There have been no charges.

The horrific accident has sent shockwaves through the close-knit community of Buxton, where residents are attempting to make sense of the catastrophe.

One of Miss McLennan’s closest friends knelt at the crash site and wepts as she places a photo of the victim as a young girl with a yellow halo put over her head.

The adolescent was consoled by her relatives before touching the photograph one more time and departing the scene.

At the crash site, Antonio’s best friend also became distraught and angry at the waiting journalists.

The young man exclaimed, “Show some respect!” before leaving with his mother.

Others maintained a respectful distance as they paid homage to the five deceased adolescents.

Jamarley Frail, a close friend of the driver Mr. Edwards, stated that the 18-year-old pub employee was driving his mother’s car the last time he saw him.

‘I’ve never seen him in a Nissan. I don’t know whose automobile that is,’ said Mr. Frail, who is also 18 and attended Picton High School in the same year as Mr. Edwards.

“I know several of the accident victims,” he stated.

He also knew Summer Williams and spoke with her on the day of the accident, characterizing her as his “sister.”

She had the most exquisite soul.

‘It doesn’t make sense to me. I am outraged about what occurred.

Instead of official sources, he learned that he knew all the victims of the crash through the grapevine.

“One of my friends discovered one name, Tyrrell’s, which then lead to another,” he explained.

Mr. Frail expressed his happiness that Mr. Edwards had survived the crash, but he was unaware of what had transpired.

‘I’m not sure. I have no idea why they were in his car.’

One of Miss McLennan’s closest friends (seen with her mother on Wednesday) kneeled and sobbed at the crash site.

Just about 10:30 a.m., a swarm of mourners bearing flowers arrived to add to the increasing pile of cellophane and flowers at the base of the rash tree.

One adolescent sobbed openly as she placed her bouquet of flowers atop the other arrangements.

In the meantime, a woman and man embraced for several minutes in a clearing across the road from the accident site.

Friends and family arrived at the collision site Wednesday morning to pay their respects with flowers.

On a box of flowers, one inscription said, “Gone too soon.” Someone else placed a little light by the tree.

Two teenage girls with yellow chrysanthemums and two teenage lads with white flowers laid their floral tributes, as two adult women consoled them.

One mother at the scene was too distressed to speak at length about the tragedy, saying just, “I’m sorry.” So sad. Too young.’

A handwritten tribute to one of the deceased adolescents stated that they had contributed “so much kindness to this earth” and were “gone too soon.”

A grieving adolescent was accompanied by a girl and an elderly woman who comforted him as they discreetly observed the awful event.

An old set of Subaru car keys was hidden under one of the dozens of bouquets of flowers left for the five young victims.

Elly Mount, a classmate in the ninth grade, recalled with tears the five adolescents who perished and stated that she almost joined them on the fatal journey.

“They wanted me to hang out with them,” Miss Mount said after she and her mother, Amy Cook, laid flowers at the crash site.

Miss Mount stated, with tears running down her cheeks, that she was closest to two of the sisters who were top school soccer players.

“[One of my pals] was a phenomenal goalkeeper. My mother did everything for me, including driving me to games.

‘I don’t feel like it’s real. I am not coping.

Who will get up to collect their soccer trophies, their parents?

The teen stated that the entire group, including the two lads, with whom she almost went out driving were in Year 9 or 10.

Across the road, a woman and man cuddled for several minutes in a shrub clearing.

At the crash site, numerous Picton High School students have left bouquets of flowers.

Blayze Cox, a young girl who awoke on Wednesday without her “best friend,” held back tears at the scene.

“I’m rather stunned and still finding it difficult to believe it. She described her as her best friend and older sister on the Today show.

I was unaware that it would occur so rapidly.

Similarly upset, her mother at one point buried her face in her hands.

I feel sorry for the family and am obviously concerned for my daughters. She responded, ‘They are very unhappy about the whole situation and so am I; it’s dreadful.

Miss Cox told the Daily Mail Australia that her buddy was a “very vivacious and kind-hearted person.”

She added that she was 14 years old and enjoyed going to the beach, listening to country music, and loved her friends and family very much.

“I will remember her smile and amazing laugh,” she said.

At the scene of a fatal car collision, friends of those involved tightly embraced one another.

Superintendent Paul Fuller of the Camden Police Department stated that the families of the victims hurried to the scene after hearing about the accident on social media (pictured, East Parade, Buxton)

Superintendent Paul Fuller of the Camden Police Department stated that the families of the victims hurried to the crash site after hearing about it on social media, and that alcohol was not considered to be a role.

As of Wednesday morning, not all of the teenagers had been properly recognized, and officers were working with the families.

He stated, “It’s a dreadful accident scene, and a tragedy of this size will have rippling consequences… for their families, friends, and the surrounding community.”

I have been a police officer for 38 years, and this is one of the worst accident scenes I have ever encountered.

Wednesday, Picton High School issued the following statement: ‘Our thoughts go out to the families and friends of the children involved in yesterday’s unfortunate accident.

At Picton High, we are prioritizing support for our kids as they grapple with this tragic news. There will be additional counseling support and alternate arrangements in place to assist our pupils through this.”

At the school, adolescents embraced, and a tearful girl was taken off campus.

Students rushed to the campus where the New South Wales Department of Education is implementing more counseling services.

Counseling will also be made available to the first responders who attended the scene of the tragedy, some of whom may have recognized the victims.

Five teens were killed in a horrific crash 100 kilometers southwest of Sydney.

Tuesday evening, two heartbroken individuals are shown at the scene of an accident.

Stuart, a resident of Buxton who lives 12 doors away from the incident location, stated that he heard a vehicle pass by but would not comment on whether or not he believed it was speeding.

He told Radio 2GB, “The road is quite narrow, there are no street lights, and the trees are half a metre from the road.”

A man who lives close to the collision site reported hearing sirens and seeing a helicopter arrive in a neighboring field immediately after the incident.

Justin Davis told The Daily Telegraph, “We heard the response of the emergency cars and saw the flashing lights, which illuminated the entire street.”

Mr. Davis stated that the region is typically fairly quiet.

Even when children ride their motorcycles around the streets, he claimed, they do so quietly.

On Tuesday, police officers and emergency personnel were photographed at the crash site.

The Nissan Navara was observed mangled against a tree after the horrific collision.

Matt Gould, the mayor of Wollondilly Shire, stated on Wednesday that his “entire shire is waking up in shock and sadness.”

“I cannot even find the words to describe how awful this is,” he said.

How do you even begin to cope with such a loss? This is one of the most catastrophic accidents that has occurred in a very long time.

“We are a tightly connected community.” Our deepest sympathies go out to everyone in the small town of Buxton.

Nathaniel Smith, a local representative, stated that he had spoken with the school captain of Picton High School and that she was “upset.”

He stated that the school community took the news “very hard.”

Superintendent Adam Druber stated on the Today Show that despite the efforts of emergency personnel, there was little that could be done for the victims.

‘A complicating factor around these types of tragedies, particularly in these towns, is that many of the emergency service workers may know the victims, which adds to the difficulty of our job in the community,’ he said.

In an official statement released Tuesday evening, NSW Police stated, “Three female and two male passengers, all believed to be the same age, were pronounced dead at the scene.”

According to Fire and Rescue NSW, numerous emergency services responded to a catastrophic accident on East Parade involving multiple victims.
