Andy Carroll has shared a wonderful, love-filled photo from his sun-drenched honeymoon with new wife Billi Mucklow, following their Hampshire wedding last weekend.
Andy was photographed on a bed with another woman on his stag do in Dubai, putting the wedding of the long-time lovebirds, who had been together for nine years, in jeopardy.
The couple, who have three children together, exchanged vows in a grandiose private ceremony at the Four Seasons hotel before heading off on their honeymoon together.
Although the specific location is unknown, rumours claim they are in Mexico, and the newlyweds appeared to be enjoying the sun, sea, and sand in an Instagram photo shared by footballer Andy.
The 33-year-old flaunted a photo of himself with his arm around Billi’s 34-year-old head and a gentle peck on her cheek.
The couple were prepared for the bright weather at their five-star resort, with Andy in beige shorts, a short-sleeved top, and a checkered bucket hat, and Billi in a leopard-print maxi dress.
They posed in front of a large wicker heart on the beach, with the waves tumbling behind them, wearing similar sunglasses and former Towie star Billi beamed for the camera.
‘Love Of My Wife,’ wrote footballer Andy in the caption.
Billi’s brother Sam saw the post and commented with two red hearts.
Last Sunday, the pair married in a flower-filled ceremony, with the bride wearing a cream off-shoulder dress with puffed sleeves and the groom in black tie.
Andy posted a photo of them kissing as husband and wife on social media, along with the date of the wedding.
The former footballer’s children Emilie Rose, 12, and Lucas, 11, from a previous relationship, as well as Billi and Andy’s children Arlo, six, Wolf, four, and 21-month-old daughter Marvel Mae, were all present for the momentous day.
Andy, an ex-Newcastle United footballer, was photographed passed out on a bed near a woman during his stag week in Dubai just two weeks before the wedding, casting doubt on the event.
The woman, who later identified herself as Taylor Jane Wilkey, later insisted ‘nothing sexual’ happened between them and described Andy and his friends as ‘gentlemen’.
‘It was all just a bit of entirely innocent fun. I didn’t sleep with him, it wasn’t like that, there was three of us in the room,’ she told The Sun, adding that she hoped Billi would forgive him.
