Avery Cyrus has “nothing but love” for JoJo Siwa after she implied that the TikTok singer “played” her.
“From my viewpoint, JoJo and I parted ways amicably and remain close friends,” Cyrus, 22, told E! News on Tuesday. I have nothing but love for JoJo and her family, as the bond was really genuine.
She continued, “I’m still quite heartbroken that JoJo dumped me. And I am distressed and perplexed by the circumstance.”
The comment comes only one day after Siwa’s mother, Jessalynn Siwa, shared a video of the “Dance Moms” graduate pacing back and forth in a hotel room while presumably raving about their previous relationship.
When Jessalynn asked the 19-year-old why she was “angry,” JoJo said, “Because I was used for attention and influence.”
“I was duped into believing I was in love, and I was f—king played,” she continued.
A recent TikTok video uploaded by Miley Cyrus and her ex-girlfriend Sophia Mosca appears to have provoked Siwa’s rage.
Less than a week after Cyrus and JoJo called it quits, the duo announced they would be traveling to Europe together.
Although Cyrus claimed she and Mosca arranged the “non-refundable” trip before she began dating JoJo, the singer was taken aback by the move.
JoJo and the TikToker were linked for the first time in August and made their red carpet debut the following month.
After over three months of dating, the couple concluded that they would be “better off as friends.”
Underneath one of her Tik Tok videos, Cyrus addressed her followers, “We are both so young and still trying to figure things out!”
Prior to her romance with Cyrus, Siwa dated Kylie Prew intermittently for more than a year.
