Albanese 11 weeks after becoming prime minister, Jodie Haydon vacations in Broome

Anthony Albanese has been seen kayaking, appreciating artwork, and dining at a nice oyster bar while on vacation with his girlfriend Jodie Haydon, just 11 weeks into the job.

The prime minister said last Friday that he would be taking a sabbatical for the first time since assuming office in May, with Richard Marles taking over as acting prime minister.

Mr Albanese never said where he was going for his vacation, although he did say he would stay in Australia. Mr Albanese never said where he was going for his vacation, although he did say he would stay in Australia. The seafood restaurant posted a picture of Mr Albanese standing beside restaurant personnel on their Facebook page, writing about the ‘pleasurable’ time they had hosting him.

‘We had the pleasure of having the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his girlfriend Jodie Haydon join us for a lovely meal on the outdoor deck last night,’ the post said.

Mr Albanese and Ms Haydon, according to the restaurant, were fully aware of the restaurant’s massive migration from Circular Quay in Sydney to Broome last year, which involved 17 staff members personally traveling to the west coast.

‘Much to our astonishment, they were aware of our narrative and the relocation from Circular Quay to Broome.’

The prime minister ‘politely volunteered’ to take a snap picture with the employees after the couple’s supper.

‘I must say, I adore how these Broome local youngsters began as dish hands, oyster shuckers, and yesterday night were cooking for the Prime Minister,’ the restaurant said in their tweet.

On Monday, the prime minister was spotted with Ms Haydon inspecting local artworks at the Art Above show.

He also delivered an impromptu statement on the value of art in society and many cultures.

The Kimberley Arts Network published a picture of Mr Albanese, who was conversing with the organization’s secretary Clancy McDowell immediately before he began his address.

‘Last night we had the wonderful pleasure of touring @albomp and Jodie Haydon through the exhibition and discussing about the tremendous range of art practice here in the Kimberley,’ stated the Kimberley Arts Network in a social media post.

‘Well… it’s not every day you get to yarn to the PM about your art, women’s footy, and your story of how it all began,’ said artist Naomi Hatherley, who was at the event presenting her work.

Mr Albanese and Ms Haydon, she said, “were wonderfully modest, interested, and courteous – and so gracious with their time to connect with all of our KAN artists.”

The high-powered duo was seen kayaking down the Broome coastline on Tuesday morning, all grins on the dazzling blue sea.

The two had done the turtle kayak trip with Broome Adventures, which published a picture of the couple and penned a brief post about how astonished the firm was by the prime minister’s sudden visit.

‘We had the pleasure of entertaining Australia’s Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, and his spouse, Jodie Haydon, today.’ ‘What a gorgeous day and a great surprise for everyone booked on the Turtle Kayak in Broome,’ stated the message.

It is unclear how long the prime minister and his girlfriend will stay in Broome.Anthony Albanese (centre with restaurant staff) has been pictured holidaying in Broome, Western Australia.
