After being advised to rest by her physicians, Queen, 96, POSTPOSES her meeting with the Privy Council.

According to Buckingham Palace, the Queen has postponed her Privy Council meeting this evening after receiving medical advice to rest.

After working all day yesterday, Her Majesty has decided to take the afternoon’s recommendation to rest, according to a palace spokeswoman.

“This implies that the Privy Council meeting that was scheduled for this evening will be rescheduled,” the statement said.

The most recent advise does not call for the Queen to stay in the hospital, and she is still residing at Balmoral Castle, where she named Liz Truss as the next prime minister on Tuesday.

The 96-year-old queen was scheduled to conduct the Privy Council remotely on Wednesday but was unable to due to persistent mobility concerns.

The king, who is 96 years old and has persistent mobility concerns, was scheduled to virtually convene the Privy Council on Wednesday.

Ms. Truss would have taken her oath as First Lord of the Treasury during the ceremonies, and new cabinet ministers would have been sworn into their positions as well as becoming privy counsellors if they had not previously done so.

The United Kingdom’s Sovereign is officially advised by the Privy Council.

There were 719 permanent members of the council as of the previous month.

Along with Prince Charles and the Duke of Cambridge, it is made up of politicians, government employees, judges, and clergy.

Following the revelation of photos of the Queen welcoming Liz Truss to Balmoral Castle in Scotland, where she extended an invitation for the newly elected leader of the Conservative Party to become prime minister, the Queen on Tuesday saw an outpouring of support on social media.

The historic audience was the first time that the 96-year-old monarch, who has faced ongoing mobility issues, has carried out the key duty at her retreat in Aberdeenshire, rather than at Buckingham Palace.

It was also the first time Her Majesty has been pictured since she was seen arriving at the estate on July 21 for her summer holiday.

The Queen has been suffering from episodic mobility problems since last autumn, and the decision was taken last week to ask the outgoing and incoming premiers to make the 1,000-mile round-trip to see her.

Some observers noticed that Her Majesty’s right hand appeared bruised or purple in photographs of her meeting Ms Truss.

When they meet at Balmoralon on Tuesday, the Queen asks Liz Truss to become Prime Minister and establish a new administration.

However, a lot of people on social media expressed their support for the queen, complimenting her appearance and giving tribute to the extraordinary duration of her reign, which has already surpassed the periods of 15 prime ministers, including Truss.

Following Boris Johnson’s personal session with the Queen, during which he submitted his resignation as prime minister, Ms. Truss’s audience with the monarch took place yesterday.

Every summer for her yearly vacation, the Queen makes the trip to her private residence in the Scottish Highlands, where she often stays until October.

The Queen only visited Buckingham Palace twice during the ceremonies for her Platinum Jubilee: once for her balcony appearance during Trooping the Colour and once for a closing ceremony following the pageant.

Living there during the epidemic, while significant repairs are being done at Buckingham Palace, and for her comfort, she spends the most of her time in Windsor Castle, 22 miles from downtown London.
