Four children and their mother were transported to the hospital when a 76-year-old woman lost control of her Mini Cooper and crashed onto the verandah of their camper, where they were seated.

The incident occurred just before noon on Saturday at the Toowoon Bay Holiday Park on the Central Coast of New South Wales, about an hour’s drive north of Sydney during the middle of the school holidays.

One adult sustained damage to her legs, while one youngster sustained a fractured femur and another sustained intestinal injuries.

Two further youngsters were sent to the hospital in stable condition.

A 76-year-old woman was driving the Mini Cooper (pictured) before she hit the curb and lost control of the vehicle.

Initial reports indicate that the elderly woman’s vehicle jumped the curb and traveled along the walkway for a distance before colliding with the group of five.

Two young boys in serious but stable situations were transported to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, one of whom was flown by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

Two little girls were sent to the John Hunter Hospital in critical but stable circumstances.

Four youngsters were treated at the scene by NSW Paramedics (pictured). One child has a fractured femur and another has stomach injuries; the other two are stable.
