After a teenage girl was sexually assaulted last weekend at a music event, police are looking for a male.

The 17-year-old girl was attacked on Sunday, July 10 at the NASS festival in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, close to the main stage.

A man standing six feet tall with a broad or muscular physique is characterized as the suspected attacker.

He looked to be in his 20s and was carrying a black backpack while sporting a white top.

Between 8:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., according to Avon and Somerset Police, the event occurred.

The Bristol Showgrounds hosted the four-day festival, which featured performers such as Headie One, Mabel, Loyle Carner, A J Tracey, and Ella Eyre.

The festival included street art, music, skating, and a BMX ramp where some of the biggest names in the sport battled for a $10,000 grand prize.
