After a child yells “has a gun,” the crowd at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off immediately leaves

Numerous festival-goers can be seen screaming and scaling the barricades as members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office invade the area.

Some others were left frantically searching for their friends and loved ones at the exits.

Although Rita Wilson was seen telling photographers that the commotion was over a sighting of rapper Playboi Carti, a man can be heard in the video saying, “Oh, there’s a shooting, bro.”

According to the Sheriff’s Office, there was no gunfire, and the threat was not there when Lost Hills investigators inspected the scene.

Deputy Sean Cohen said, “It was just a child being stupid.”

Tom Hanks and his wife, actress Rita Wilson, attended this year’s event. They both donned casual attire, with Hanks donning a blue baseball cap and a white polo and Wilson donning a denim jacket with the sleeves rolled up over a black jumper. With a long, gold necklace, she accessorized it.

Scrubs actor Donald Faison, who attended this year’s event, was also observed swinging while wearing a red t-shirt, black shorts, and a black baseball cap.

And the Kardashian kids also seemed to be enjoying themselves as they walked with their caretakers holding some stuffed animals they won during the festivities.

Both True Thompson and Chicago West had their faces painted at the carnival on Saturday.

Meanwhile, January Jones made a rare public outing with her son Xander on Sunday, while departing the Malibu Chili Cook-Off festival.

The actress, 44, flashed her toned midriff in a red-and-white striped crop top which she teamed up with faded jeans and grey sneakers.

She walked hand-in-hand with her 10-year-old as she wore a multicolored tie-dye sweater and styled her lovely blonde hair in a stylish haircut.

The Mad Men actress kept her necessities in a black leather handbag and gave her pout a vibrant raspberry color.

She enhanced her appearance with a glittering gold necklace and a full face of expertly applied makeup that complemented her inherent attractiveness.

Xander, who January has continually refused to identify the father of, continued his outfit with a pair of neon green shorts.

Jackass star Johnny Knoxville also brought his daughter to the annual festival for some father-daughter bonding.

Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife, Nicole Murphy, also stunned in a colorful floral dress as she exited the festival on Saturday, while model Phoebe Price was even more scantily-clad in a lime green strappy bikini.

She also donned a floppy sun hat with large square sunglasses.

And actor Evan Ross seemed at ease as he walked around the Chili Cook-off in a torn-up black T-shirt and dark jeans.

He wore several chains around his neck and styled the outfit with large orange sunglasses.
