INSTITUTE OF SPACE SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING is a one-of-a-kind postgraduate institute developed to fulfill the growing demand for space scientific knowledge and discoveries in Nigeria and the rest of the African continent. In general, the Institute consists of the Department of Space Science and the Department of Aerospace Engineering Systems, both of which offer Master of Science (MSc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programmes based on specialized studies in Space Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Computerization, and Technology Innovations.
The Institute of Space Science and Engineering (ISSE), an affiliate of the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Abuja and the National Space Research and Development Agency’s Obasanjo Space Centre in Abuja, is now accepting applications for admission into the center’s approved postgraduate academic programs.

PhD GEOINFORMATICS & GIS Admission Requirements at the Institute of Space Science and Engineering (ISSE)
Admission to any of the MSc degrees requires a least of SECOND CLASS UPPER (2:1) in a relevant undergraduate degree, in addition to a passing score on an entrance examination.
Only individuals with relevant undergraduate and postgraduate degrees or qualifications will be considered for admission to PhD programs.

To apply, please complete and submit the form located at https://aust.edu.ng/admission/application-fee-and-payment-option on the AUST website. Applications must be emailed to orakiya@isse.edu.ng.
Before any application can be processed, a N10,000.00 application processing fee must be paid online or via bank transfer using the instructions provided on the AUST website.
