Adelaide police pursue blood up stairs to find a head-injured guy in South Plympton flats

After following a blood trail up a flight of stairs and discovering a man with severe head injuries, the man remains hospitalized.

A 63-year-old man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital after police found him with 'serious head injuries' last month
On Wednesday, December 14, just before noon, police responded to a complex in the Adelaide suburb of South Plympton after receiving complaints of blood in the stairway.

Following the blood trail, officers discovered a 63-year-old guy with a severe head injury.

Critically ill, he was transported to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

A 63-year-old man was transported to the Royal Adelaide Hospital last month after police discovered him with “serious head injuries.”

The detectives have conducted inquiries and reviewed CCTV footage of the area, but they have not yet determined the cause of his injuries.

SA Police is asking anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything strange in the area on that Wednesday to call Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
