Adam Devine jokes, “I’m not Adam Levine” amid adultery rumours

The Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is not the actor Adam Devine, who posted a clarification on Instagram on Friday. The statement was made after Levine was accused of having an affair with Instagram model Summer Stroh while married to model Behati Prinsloo.

Devine said in his article that he and actress Chloe Bridges were more content than ever.

“I’m not Adam Levine, but I just wanted to share this to let everyone know that my wife @chloebridges and I are doing fantastic and still going strong. He has changed, and his singing has declined. But we’re giving our next child the name Sumner.”

Insider’s request for comment was not immediately answered by Levine’s representatives.

Stroh released Instagram DMs between herself and Levine in a TikTok video that went viral on Monday. The pop artist requested to name his third kid with Prinsloo after her in a series of communications.

Since then, Levine has publicly disavowed having an affair with the Instagram model.

The musician said in an Instagram post on Tuesday, “I exercised bad judgement in chatting with anybody other than my wife in ANY type of flirty way. Even though I didn’t have an affair, he said, “I crossed the line at a regretful time in my life.”

Devine has already spoken out against the name confusion. The comedian made light of the situation on a 2019 episode of “A Little Late with Lilly Singh,” saying it occurs often.

“There are always a few spectators who comment, “Oh, he looks awful,” whenever I do a stand-up routine. He lost 11 inches and gained 60 pounds, right? Adam Levine doesn’t seem right, “Devine said.
