Thapelo Mokoena is well-known for his performances in popular television series such as Bulletproof, but it is his grooming that makes him the original “goatee God of All Time.”
Bakoena Beard Care was created for the modern African guy who wants to enhance his fashionable beard, according to Mokoena, the founder and CEO of Bakoena Brands, who told EWN that grooming is an essential aspect of the African man’s daily routine.
As someone who enjoys experimenting with scents, textures, and products, Mokoena chose to start on an immersive journey to produce genuinely African products that respond to the particular demands and textures of African hair and skin.

Mokoena says in the film, “If a man’s crown is represented by his beard and his wisdom by how well he maintains it, then where we’re from, we call that man a real goat.”
He collaborated with Jared Hines, an award-winning aesthetician and somatologist, to develop the Bakoena Beard Care line. EWN reports
