A woman dies at Kenny Chesney concert while climbing an escalator

A woman who was in the audience for a Kenny Chesney concert at a stadium in Denver died on Saturday after she fell from an escalator railing.

After the concert, the incident happened at Empower Field at Mile High, home of the Denver Broncos, at approximately 10:52 p.m.

The concertgoer, whose identity is still unknown, tumbled to the concourse below. The drop’s exact length is still unknown.

According to Denver Police, the woman died “accidentally,” rejecting claims that she was prodded or shoved before falling.

According to what I understand, there was nothing like that; she simply fell accidentally; I don’t believe anyone shoved her or did anything similar, police spokesman Nate Magee told The Denver Post.

It’s unclear whether she was intoxicated when she climbed up the escalator railing, whether she passed away at the stadium, or even if she was taken to the hospital.

Later on Sunday, Chesney issued a statement to the Denver Post in which he said: “I was devastated to learn of the loss of someone after our show.”

It is heartbreaking to hear this after last night’s outpouring of joy and love from Denver residents. Life is valuable.

Sharing music brings us together, and the love we have for one another strengthens us even more.

There are no words to describe the lady who came to share that love.

I mourn with them and for them for the loss of her friends and family,” the Grammy Award-winning musician continued.

‘We extend our deepest sympathies to the loved ones of the woman involved in the tragic incident that occurred at the end of Saturday’s concert at Empower Field at Mile High,’ read a statement posted on Twitter by the stadium’s management company.

Nothing is more crucial than the security of our visitors, and Stadium Management Company said it was in touch with the Denver Police Department as it looked into the unfortunate incident.

On Saturday, the Kenny Chesney concert began an hour earlier than scheduled, at 4 p.m. (5 p.m.).

As of Monday morning, the autopsy report for the victim had not been made public.

Denver Police suggested the woman's fall was an accident, denying suggestions she was pushed off from the escalator's railing

If conditions are thought to be suspicious, Denver Police wrote, “We will update information on this thread.”

On social media, he has not mentioned the incident at all.
