A timeline of ‘RHOBH’ Aspen turmoil, includes Kathy Hilton’s ‘meltdown’

Multiple feuds were resurrected and a new one was ignited in the icy tourist destination.
Erika Jayne stormed out regarding her lawsuits, while Kathy Hilton criticized their tequila selections.

When the trailer for season 12 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” premiered online in April, everyone was talking about Aspen. Bravo blogs and fan pages began circulating rumors about what transpired in Aspen during filming.

In September, the episodes involving the trip were ultimately broadcast. They were full of the humiliating of enemies and fantastic shopping that viewers have come to expect from the Bravo franchise, but the most juicy moments were allegedly not captured on camera.

Viewers were disappointed to see that much of what had been rumored before to the season took place off-screen, and the Housewives raced into confessionals to provide their side of the story. See the complete account below.

In season 12, episode 15, Kyle took the ladies to Aspen for a Studio 54-themed party for Rinna Beauty.

Kyle Richards offered an invitation to her “favorite location in the world,” Aspen, to all the women on the show.

Despite the growing animosity between Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, and Garcelle Beauvais, all the women accepted. Sheree Zampino and Kathy Hilton, both friends of the show, were also invited.

Mauricio Umansky was the sole husband, although he stayed out of the way for the most part.

Richards stated that her home was too tiny to accommodate the entire group, so she rented another home through The Agency, her husband’s company. Dorit Kemsley attributed the breakup to a different factor.

Later in episode 16, Kemsley told her husband PK, “Sutton and Erika are not fantastic, we must live in two separate houses.”

In season 12 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Garcelle Beauvais asked Erika Jayne difficult questions.

Bravo

Garcelle communicated her thoughts about Erika with everyone including Erika herself.

Jayne has been involved in court proceedings with her estranged spouse, Tom Girardi. The 82-year-old former attorney is accused of stealing millions of dollars from widows and orphans of plane crash, explosion, and malpractice victims who filed lawsuits through his company, Girardi & Keese. During the season 11 reunion, Stracke recalled hearing suspicions regarding the embezzlement.

During a recording of her talk show “The Real,” Beauvais discussed Jayne’s alleged possession of a set of $750,000 earrings obtained with funds from her husband’s alleged wrongdoings.

It has been reported that these money were used to fund the couple’s extravagant lifestyle depicted in the series.

The former talk show presenter and actor received a FaceTime call from Crystal Kung Minkoff while on site.

Season 12 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” featured a conflict between Crystal and Erika. Lisa and Dorit endeavored to assist Erika.

Beauvais told Minkoff that she attempted to avoid commenting on the subject, but producers aggressively questioned her about it. She knew that would be a problem, but chose not to inform Jayne before their group trip.

In a candid interview, Beauvais stated, “This episode of ‘The Real’ will not run before the Aspen vacation, so I hope we can have a good time before she finds out.”

Sage was stuffed in her suitcase in preparation for the trip’s drama. She said aboard the plane, “If I could have brought holy water, I would have.”

The women have arrived in Aspen.

In classic Beverly Hills fashion, the gang chartered a private flight to the opulent snow wonderland. During the flight, they munched on gourmet food and clinked champagne glasses.

Richards provided the women who were not residing at her home with a palace-worthy residence. It was inadequately equipped for the season 12 rookie, Diana Jenkins.

Even though their accommodations included a private chef, gym, wine cellar, and elevator, Jenkins elected to stay in a hotel. In episodes five and six, she demonstrated that she typically sends her staff ahead of time to organize her trip accommodations. “I’m not a really good host,” she said.

Diana criticized Sutton’s insincerity.

On their first night in Aspen, the women met together and discussed their problems using a ouija board.

Jenkins accused Beauvais of being “guarded” with her and attributed their distance to Stracke’s uneasiness.

Diana Jenkins is curious as to who is behind the Beverly Hills robot fence.

Stracke and Jenkins battled during Beauvais’ birthday party in season 12, episode 8. Stracke implied that it was weird for Jenkins to attend Beauvais’ birthday party after experiencing a miscarriage. She told Jenkins about her own miscarriage, but Jenkins considered her attempts to connect to be “fake.”

Jenkins labeled Stracke “slithery” as the ladies tried to encourage her to resolve her differences with Stracke at the table, leaving Stracke in tears.

Due of Jayne’s empathetic nature toward Stracke, the two connected over snowmobile.

Erika and Sutton reconciled in Aspen following their rift in season eleven.

Earringgate reached its climax in episode 17.

In episode 17, Jayne stated that the earrings were worth $1.3 million, not $750,000, and that she would not give them up unless ordered by the court.

Jayne stuck by her decision when questioned about why she would not give up the earrings out of compassion for the victims of her husband’s alleged actions.

She told Minkoff, “There is a place to make individuals whole, and that place is a court of law, not the court of public opinion.” Jayne was angered when Minkoff questioned whether she had compassion for the victims.

As the situation grew increasingly heated, Lisa Rinna simply desired to consume her marijuana-infused chocolate-covered blueberries.

Jayne yelled at Minkoff, “You want to be on the side of the victims because you think that’s cool.”

Jayne said, “This is what I’m saying.” “I don’t give a crap about anyone but myself.”

Jayne advised her pals that they should be more concerned with her situation than with that of strangers. Richards replied, “Don’t say that because you’re my friend, and I can’t justify that.”

Richards attempted to persuade Jayne to demonstrate compassion for people who claimed they had not gotten their payments from Girardi’s company, but she appeared to associate empathy with admitting guilt. Jayne has always maintained her innocence and denied any knowledge of Girardi’s alleged criminal acts. She reported being kept in the dark regarding family finances.

The actions of Jayne prompted Kemsley and Rinna to intervene and convince her to leave. Jennifer Lawrence, a devoted fan of the show, described Jayne’s remarks as “vile.”

Diana sponsored Erika’s trip to Aspen and allowed her to stay at her hotel.

Eventually, Jayne was so distressed that she packed up her belongings, left Richards’ residence, and headed to the hotel where Jenkins was staying. She did not need to reserve a room because Jenkins’ enormous apartment contained spare rooms.

Beauvais told her candid interviewers that after hearing Jayne’s response to her words on “The Real,” she was pleased she had not informed her about them beforehand.

Kathy attempted promotion of the tequila business owned by her family for the second time this season. It was not as successful as the first.

In the world of the Housewives, product placement is standard, but when a “friend of the program” tries to squeeze in a pitch for their firm, things may not always go as easily.

At Jenkins and fiancé Asher’s holiday party, Kathy Hilton sent a bottle of her Casa Del Sol tequila as a gift for Kemsley. The bottle received some attention, but it did not steal the show. She also coordinated a tequila tasting for the party.

During this season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Kathy Hilton promoted her family’s business.

Bravo, Randy Shropshire

Hilton attempted to gather the women in Aspen to sample the tequila, but it was a complete failure.

She began, “Girls ladies, attention ladies” as they spoke over her.

“I find every other tequila repulsive, but I enjoy this one. James and Nicky [Hilton, her daughter] are investors. I would like you to try, “She declared.

The ladies had already consumed a few drinks before Hilton began distributing the substance, and they did not appreciate the disruption to their turn-up. Richards gave Hilton some sisterly snorts, while Stracke revealed that she likes vodka. Jayne rejected after telling the ladies that the last time she drank tequila, she cursed out Jax, Beauvais’ 14-year-old son.

Kathy attempted a third time to advertise her family’s tequila.

Richards like purchasing customized headwear from Kemo Sabe. In episode 18, she invited the ladies to join her at the upscale hat shop with a full bar.

While the women were admiring their hats and conversing, Hilton happened to notice that the store had her tequila in stock.

In a confessional, Rinna stated, “Of course they have Hilton’s tequila, and I have a sneaking hunch that Kathy placed it there herself.”

During the cast’s trip to Aspen on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” shopping for hats devolved into an opportunity for shade-throwing.

Rinna substituted 818 tequila for Hilton’s and then mentioned Kendall Jenner to the bartender (who was rocking a fabulous pure white hat). Instantaneously, Kathy began to ridicule her, and when the show aired, social media followed suit.

Both tequilas were positioned side-by-side in the frame’s center and received maximum exposure on the broadcast.

Hilton stormed out of the shop after becoming enraged that Richards did not intervene in Rinna’s efforts to promote 818 out of family loyalty. The party continued without the Hilton matriarch, and the guests continued to consume shots and margaritas.

“Are we required by contract to consume this tequila? I am curious because I did not sign the contract “asked Beauvais later.

Erika doubles down on her gems immediately

Kyle’s sentiments were hurt by Kemsley and Jayne’s display of unity at Jenkins’ hotel. In episode 18, Jayne, Jenkins, and Kemsley went shopping and drinking apart from the rest of the gang.

This season, Dorit was there for Erika when things went awry in the freezing town of Aspen.

Bravo, Randy Shropshire

On the occasion, Jayne wore the earrings that sparked the debate. She questioned, “Why wouldn’t I wear my earrings?” She claimed, “They have been my earrings for 15 years, and until the day they are no longer my earrings, I will continue to wear them.”

She stated that she was costly, and she meant it.

Okay, then, Miss Jayne.

Kathy attempted to initiate a conga line at the Caribou club, resulting in chaos.

Rinna met with Jayne, Jenkins, and Kemsley in an effort to convince them to rejoin the other women.

On their last night in Aspen, they all went to a nearby country western bar to have fun. The nice times were short-lived since Jayne called Minkoff an idiot for wanting her to demonstrate compassion after she assisted her in Mexico.

Afterwards, several of the women went to the members-only Caribou club for a nightcap, where Hilton apparently had a massive breakdown.

Before the season began, blogs were inundated with accounts of this incident.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast returned to Aspen sans Kathy Hilton.

Lisa and Kathy leave

Rinna alleged that when she and Hilton got into a sprinter van together, Hilton began hurling insults at everyone, including the women, NBC, Bravo, and Rinna’s sister Kyle.

She claimed Hilton said, “I will destroy this program by myself, and I will fucking ruin you all.” She alleged that Hilton was envious of her sister and the Kardashian family.

During the trip, there were no cameras, but Hilton sent Jayne real-time texts detailing the frantic journey.

Everyone understands that without proof of payment, you cannot sue Bravo for damages.

The women depart Aspen — minus Kathy

Everyone had their own opinion of what transpired in Aspen in the aftermath.

Stracke stated that Hilton desired a conga line. Stracke reported that when no one joined in, Hilton requested to go home and told her, “If you don’t go home with me, you are not my buddy.”

Jenkins reported that Hilton was “enraged, yelling at the females and primarily at Kyle.”

Richards refused to leave the club because they had just arrived and she was puzzled and unaware of her sister’s displeasure. Minkoff mentioned observing “commotion,” although she did not specify what type.

Rinna stated that Hilton’s behavior deteriorated upon their return home and that she shattered her own sunglasses in frustration.

Kathy Hilton was in better spirits at Crystal’s 39th birthday party than when she was on vacation with the other “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast members in Aspen.

Bravo, Randy Shropshire

Kathy attended Crystal’s birthday celebration.

In episode 19, Hilton’s arrival at Minkoff’s 1920s-themed birthday party surprised everyone. As usual, she was lovely and eccentric, which truly disturbed Rinna.

Rinna was so upset that she rushed home after apologizing to her hostess.

Kemsley did not leave in a rage, but she did complain that there was a “double standard” for Beverly Hills socialites.

After a year of being dragged by the group and the media, Jayne sided with Lisa. She told Jenkins, “If we’re going to discuss Erika’s behavior, we’re also going to discuss everyone else’s behavior.”

Crystal displayed her new parlor at her 39th birthday celebration.

Bravo, Randy Shropshire

Hilton expresses regret to her sister.

Hilton apologized to Richards for her tantrums without discussing them in detail. Richards soon accepted, stating that she did not want to return to the years when they did not talk during their feud.

The apologies, however, did not satisfy Rinna. She confronted Hilton about her claims and turned to social media to accuse Minkoff of denying the complete account of what transpired at the club.

Sutton and Erika consume Popeyes, served, of course, on nice china.

Aspen did provide the series with one shining moment.

In episode 20, Jayne and Stracke put their disagreements aside and ate at Popeyes.

After their eleventh-season feud, Sutton and Erika had lunch.

Stracke presented the chicken on excellent china, accompanied by sweet tea in crystal, as a genuine Southern lady.

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs on Bravo and Hayu in the United Kingdom every Wednesday. It’s also available on Peacock.
