A murder suspect has been killed after crashing his car as he was chased by police probing the death of a woman in her home in Beverley

A murder suspect was killed when his automobile crashed while being pursued by police looking into a woman’s death at her house.

There had been a “brief pursuit” prior to the crash at around 6.30 a.m. on Monday, according to the Humberside Police force, who stated they had reported themselves to the police watchdog.

In the early hours of Monday, police were summoned to a property in Beverley after receiving reports of concern about the woman. There, they discovered a woman’s death.

According to Detective Chief Inspector Alan Curtis, “as part of our inquiries,” a guy was believed to have driven away from the Beverley residence at around 6 in the morning in a Volkswagen Polo.

A brief police pursuit was ensured when the car was later seen by cops on the B1230 between Seaton and Hornsea.

The Polo then collided with a Ford Transit van at roughly 6.30 in the morning.

The Polo’s driver was declared deceased at the spot.

The driver of the Ford Transit van was brought to the hospital with critical injuries that could have permanently altered his life. He is still there as of this writing.

The event has been forwarded to the Independent Office for Police Conduct for an independent inquiry because there was a police pursuit.

The woman’s family has been informed of her passing and the murder inquiry; they are also receiving support from cops with specialised training.

The family of the deceased guy has also been notified of his passing, and specially trained officials are in contact with them to offer support.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111, which can be done anonymously, or 101.
