A man was shot dead last night near a London Underground station after a weekend of violence across the capital

Three people have died as a result of a slew of violent crimes that occurred this weekend in various locations of London.

After two individuals were slain in separate incidents in Wood Green and Waltham Forest yesterday, police are looking for two distinct gunmen.

The family of a guy in his fifties who was fatally stabbed in Ealing’s Star & Scorpion bar today were mourning their loss in the meantime.

Unsettling CCTV footage from a club in Havering, east London, captured the moment a knifeman approached a victim from behind and repeatedly stabbed him.

The 23-year-old victim is hospitalised in a critical but stable condition, but his attacker is still at large.

There is no indication that any of the four violent crimes are related.

It happens just three days after English and Welsh police forces recorded the most offences in 20 years, primarily due to a steep increase in crimes like fraud, rape, and violent assaults.

A total of 6.3 million crimes were reported in the year ending in March 2022, which is 4% more than the 6.1 million crimes reported in the previous record-setting year of 2019–20.

Following allegations of the stabbing, police were originally summoned to the Fatling Hornchurch pub in Havering, east London, shortly after midnight on Saturday.

The 23-year-old victim was treated on the spot for “a number of stab wounds” before being taken to the hospital.

According to police, his status at the hospital is still critical but stable. His heirs have been notified.

In an effort to identify a man they believe is responsible for the incident, police have released his picture. He is still evading capture.

The attacker can also be seen conversing with a small group of people on the video before striking the victim repeatedly from behind.

A man was reported to have been stabbed inside the Star & Scorpion pub on Uxbridge Road in Ealing at 11:55 p.m. less than 24 hours later.

Along with the London Ambulance Service, officers attended.

The individual, who was thought to be 58 years old, was declared dead at the spot.

The victim’s family has been informed, and specialised officers will support them, according to Scotland Yard.

The force also stated that formal identification and a post-mortem examination would be scheduled soon.

A 58-year-old man was detained on Sunday on suspicion of murder. He was transferred to a police station in west London, where he is still being held.

After a 100-person rave in a park, a man died in Waltham Forest eight minutes later, sparking a murder investigation.

On July 24, at at 00.35am, shots were fired in Cheney Row Park, according to reports.

Along with their colleagues from the ambulance, officers arrived at the scene.

A crime scene was secured, and cordons were set up.

Two people showed up on their own to an east London hospital a short while later.

One of the males, who was 28 years old and had suffered serious gunshot wounds, passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Sam Brown, a resident of Waltham Forest, has recently been identified as the man.

In addition, a man was shot and killed last night close to a London Underground station in the most recent crime.

Just around 9.30 p.m. yesterday, the victim was shot and killed close to the Wood Green subway station in London.

It is unclear if he was using the subway system when the murder took place.

Families who lived close by observed as an air ambulance touched down to attempt to save his life.

They were joined by a fast response vehicle medic, an advanced paramedic, and a road ambulance.

They were joined by a tactical response unit to deal with the aftermath as there had been a shooting.

However, despite the best efforts of the rescue services, the victim, whose identity and age are now unknown, passed away at the scene.

‘We were contacted at 9.28pm on July 24 to reports of a shooting near Wood Green Underground Station, N22,’ a London Ambulance Service representative said.

An ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, a medic in a quick response car, and members of our tactical response unit were among the resources we dispatched to the location.

We sent the London Air Ambulance as well.

The Metropolitan Police has not yet made any remarks regarding the death.

Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, has not yet mentioned any of the crimes that occurred over the weekend on his social media accounts.

He has received more and more criticism in recent months due to the violence that has engulfed the capital.
