A mother described how her 19-year-old daughter is frequently mocked for looking like a four-year-old due to her condition.
Dannia Shabir, according to her family, may be the only female in the world who has chromosome translocation.
Because of the disorder, the teenager, who is nonverbal, appears to be a small girl weighing only 17kg.
It means her mother, Aleisha Almahari, 56, and auntie, Kelly Shabir, 39, are frequently abused for using disabled parking spaces.
Despite the trolls, Dannia’s family claims she is always happy and enjoys traveling.
Her mother now wants to raise awareness about her daughter’s “genetic makeup,” according to the Sun Online.
She stated, ” “That’s how God made her. She’s easygoing, always happy, and prefers people to toys.
“Following her birth, the geneticist performed extensive genetic testing and discovered a chromosome translocation in chromosome 20.
“They stated that there had only been four reported cases worldwide, all of which were boys, and she was the first girl.
“The boys have never survived, and they have no idea what Dannia will do.”
Dannia was born smaller than average, with a low body temperature and blood sugar.
Her mother claims that when geneticists looked into the matter, they said, “Ooh, doesn’t she look funny?” and she became enraged.
Despite the news following her birth, Aleisha claims her daughter has completely proven her wrong.
Dannia, on the other hand, isn’t “lifeless” as she grows.
Strangers frequently criticize the family for using disabled parking spaces despite having a blue badge because she looks like a toddler.
The mother went on: “People don’t know what’s wrong with her because she’s severely disabled and can’t walk.
“We were kicked off a flight to Morocco because of her size; it was terrible and humiliating.
“We called ahead of time and explained that we had a letter from her consultant saying she couldn’t sit unaided in an airplane seat and would need to sit in a lap.
“They then decided that because she was too young to sit in our laps, we needed to buy her a seat, but they wouldn’t sell us one because she was too small to sit in it.
“The captain came out and said he wasn’t happy, so they unloaded our bags, got us off the plane, and walked us all the way through the airport to the door.”
Even though it’s not always smooth, Dannia loves travelling as her favourite place to be is “floating in a pool in Dubai”.
Aleisha concluded: “She prefers the heat to the cold.
“We take her everywhere, and she’s been to so many places that her body temperature is a degree lower than ours.
“She’s been in 50-degree weather before with no problem, but that’s just her.
“Floating around in the swimming pool in Dubai was her favorite experience.”
