A sad family has paid homage to their ‘beautiful’ son, who was killed in hospital after being struck by a vehicle.
A vehicle struck with Tyler Wills, age 12, on Friday afternoon in West Sussex, knocking him to the ground.

At around 2.45 p.m., police and medics were dispatched to Crawley Avenue between Ifield Community College and Ifield Roundabout.
Tyler was transported to the hospital, where he was tragically declared dead.

This evening, his family issued the following statement in honor to their ‘beautiful kid’: ‘Our wonderful boy Tyler – he was the most caring, loving, and gentle guy.
“He has brought his family so much pride. He will be eternally missed and cherished. Our lovely boy, I hope you’re kicking the ball high in the air.
We adore you beyond anything words can express. Mama adores you.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: ‘Nobody has been arrested, but enquiries are ongoing to find out exactly what happened’
His relatives have been notified and are receiving assistance from specialized officials.
This evening, his family issued the following statement in honor to their ‘beautiful kid’: ‘Our wonderful boy Tyler – he was the most caring, loving, and gentle guy.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman stated, “No one has been detained, however investigations are underway to determine what occurred.”
They stated that they would like to contact with anybody who observed the incident or the circumstances leading up to it, as well as anyone who has dashcam evidence of the incident.
