Michael Gove was once again seen dancing till the wee hours of the morning while wearing a suit.
The 55-year-old Cabinet member was seen spinning a brunette lady to I Feel Love by Donna Summers at Club Tropicana in Aberdeen, Scotland, his hometown.
On Saturday, the divorced father of two reportedly had an impromptu night out on the town with his mother Christine.
He seemed a little tipsy but wasn’t intoxicated, and he was obviously having a good time, a clubgoer told The Sun.
Several people recognized him, but the majority simply let him go on without asking who he was.
“After some time, this girl went to talk to him, and they danced.” It was just a little harmless fun.
Tony Cochrane, the club’s proprietor, shared a picture of Mr. Gove “having wee boogie at Club Tropicana tonight.”
Even the venue recognized him as “clubber of the week.”
Rebecca McGregor, a nightclub photographer, added: “Michael Gove MP came in while I was at a nearby job when my mom, who works at Club Tropicana, contacted me.
I turned around and snapped his photo.
I assume he was having fun since he snapped a few pictures with customers and remained till the very end.
The senior Tory MP allegedly left the location alone at approximately 3am. He and journalist Sarah Vine divorced in 2021 after 20 years of marriage.
On Tuesday morning, he was spotted entering Whitehall in advance of the weekly Cabinet meeting.
Mr. Gove’s partying behavior has already been documented on video.
In Aberdeen in 2021, the housing secretary was also seen dancing to techno music alone.
At Bohemia in Aberdeen, he was seen on camera throwing shapes while only stopping to shake hands with other partygoers.
The videos were uploaded to Instagram by musician Emma Lament, who said in the comments that the recently single Mr. Gove was “giving it big licks” as he bopped to pulsing techno music.
According to reports, he arrived to O’Neill’s bar on his alone. Local customers soon embraced him and pushed him to join them in the club upstairs after final orders were called.
On the Pipe club night, which is characterized as “an unexpected blend of the most high-energy UK and worldwide club music scenes,” Mr. Gove just so happened to come.
And Mr. Gove was seen partying once again last year, this time in Ibiza.
He was seen on camera pouring himself a drink inside the Ushuaa Ibiza Beach Hotel while wearing an unbuttoned shirt.
At the time, Mr. Gove was supporting Rishi Sunak in the race for the Tory leadership despite having just been sacked by the then-prime minister, Boris Johnson.
