35-years-old pregnant woman loses unborn baby on Sunday in a crash on the A44

A pregnant woman sitting as the front passenger on the busy A44 lost her unborn child after being involved in a horrific two-car collision.

Sunday at noon, a woman in a black Volvo V50 collided with a grey Volvo XC60 at the intersection of Lenchwick Lane and Lenchwick Lane, near Evesham.

It is uncertain whose car caused the collision.

She was transported to the hospital as a precaution, but no further injuries were recorded, according to West Mercia police, who spoke to MailOnline today.

Officers have not yet issued a call for witnesses or anybody with dashcam footage or information regarding the collision to come forward.

PC Joe Curry may be reached at joseph.curry@westmercia.police.uk or by calling 7811 973 804 with the reference number 280 of 11 December.
