34-year-old woman and two children reported missing from Mount Carbine have been found

Update: The 34-year-old woman and two children who were reported missing from Mount Carbine have been located safe and well. No identifying details have been provided in the following release.

Earlier, Queensland Police issued an urgent appeal for public assistance in locating a 34-year-old woman and two children reported missing from Mount Carbine on March 9th.

The woman was last seen on Mount Spurgeon Rd around 7 am on March 9th and has not been seen since. It is believed that she may be travelling around the Mareeba or Mossman areas with the two children.

The family and police were concerned for the welfare of the woman and the children, as the disappearance was considered out of character.

Police had appealed to the woman or anyone with information about their whereabouts to contact the authorities. Fortunately, the missing persons have been located and are safe and well.
