A 28-year-old man has been caught and charged after allegedly fleeing Lotus Glen Correctional Centre (Farm).

Officers from Queensland Corrective Services discovered the man in Arriga at 11 a.m. today (February 10).

Police arrived and brought the man into jail without incident.

The 28-year-old male has been charged with one count of evading lawful custody and one count of possessing tainted property.

He will appear at Mareeba Magistrates Court tomorrow (February 11).
