A 19-year-old man suspected of shooting at least persons in Memphis, Tennessee, has escaped to Arkansas.

The culprit has not been recognised, but police have issued a warning that he is shooting at people while driving a grey Toyota SUV across the city.

According to the police, he livestreamed his violent act.

So far, two gunshots have been recorded. According to Fox 13, one occurred at a BP gas station on South Parkway and the other occurred on Norris Road near I-240.

This man’s specific whereabouts is unknown to police at this time.

According to Memphis Police, the Infiniti he is driving has a broken rear window and a red dealer licence plate.

The police are now unaware of the man’s whereabouts, but they fear he is armed and dangerous.

They are advising city residents to remain inside, but to phone 911 if they see him.

‘The suspect is still at large. If you do not have to be out, stay indoors until this is resolved,’ Memphis police warned on Facebook.

According to Arkansas station KAIT8, the search has crossed state boundaries, as the suspect has entered Crittenden County. A video of the Interstate 55 bridge reveals that Arkansas State Police have blocked one traffic lane.
