The administration of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has announced the instructions for the online post-UTME screening test for the 2022/2023 academic session.
SMS and Email (used for registration) notifications and updates will be sent to all registered and qualified applicants scheduled to take the test.
YABATECH Online Post UTME Screening Exam
SCHEDULE:
All candidates for 2022/2023 National Diploma and B.Sc Edu. Full-Time Admission are thus notified that the On-line Post UTME aptitude test will be administered from Wednesday, December7,2022, to Saturday, December10, 2022.
ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates who selected Yaba College of Technology as their 1st Choice Institution and scored 150 or higher for National Diploma (ND) Full Time and 160 or higher for Bachelor of Science (100 Level) in affiliation with University of Nigeria, Nsukka on the 2022/2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to take the online aptitude test. All applicants must be at least 16 years of age before October 2022.
On Monday, December 5, 2022, registered and qualified applicants scheduled to take the test will be able to see their exam schedule.
EXAMINATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- This is a competitive aptitude test. Therefore, candidates must conduct themselves appropriately.
- Candidates are recommended to prepare thoroughly before beginning the examination.
- Before taking the online aptitude test, applicants are urged to have a stable internet connection.
- During the duration of the aptitude test, candidates will be remotely observed and recorded.
Candidates will be required to take the test on a computer equipped with a camera and microphone. (The usage of mobile phones during the aptitude test is discouraged for best experience.) - The time allotted for the aptitude test is thirty minutes. The countdown begins as soon as you click the start button and continues even if you log out before your 30 minutes expire.
- Candidates are prohibited from covering their cameras throughout the aptitude test. If we are unable to see the applicant clearly and unambiguously at any point throughout the examination, the candidate may be disqualified.
- During the test, the use of face masks, face caps, or anything else that covers the face is banned.
- During the 30-minute aptitude test, applicants are prohibited from leaving their seats.
- During the aptitude test, you are not authorised to go away from the examination page, i.e., you cannot leave the test tab for another tab or programme on the computer, not even to use the computer calculator. It is possible to be disqualified for leaving the test tab.
- No one is authorised to be near the applicant during the test, not even immediate family members. A applicant will be disqualified if anybody is present during the test.
If the applicants run out of time, your aptitude test will be submitted automatically.
