Woody Harrelson Shares Prank on Co-Star During White House Plumbers Filming Woody Harrelson, star of HBO’s upcoming mini-series White House Plumbers, recently shared a hilarious prank he played on his co-star Justin Theroux during filming that almost resulted in a hernia for Theroux.
In the scene, Theroux’s character, G. Gordon Liddy, had to carry Harrelson’s character, E. Howard Hunt, to safety after he passed out in prison.
Unbeknownst to Theroux, Harrelson had strapped weights and sandbags to himself, making the task much more challenging than anticipated.
Despite the back-breaking effort, Theroux’s acting was praised, and the two actors had a great time on set.
Weighted Prank Causes Back-Breaking Effort During a recent interview on Good Morning America, Harrelson shared the prank he pulled on Theroux during the White House Plumbers filming.
Harrelson explained that in the scene where Theroux’s character had to carry him to safety, he had strapped weights and sandbags to himself, making it difficult for Theroux to lift him.
This resulted in Theroux almost getting a hernia from the back-breaking effort.
Co-Stars Had Fun on Set Despite Prank Despite the prank, Harrelson and Theroux had a great time on set, even wrestling and playfully punching each other.
Theroux, who was previously married to Jennifer Aniston, took the prank in good spirits and was not upset with Harrelson.
