A Polish singer, Julia Wendell, who spent months claiming she might have been Madeleine McCann, has denied accusations of being a “paedo”.
Her former friend, Dr Fia Johansson, known as the Persian Medium, has accused the 21-year-old of possessing illicit pictures of underage children on her phone and encouraging young girls to join sex platforms.
Dr Johansson has filed a report with US police alleging that the phone Julia left behind held explicit pictures of children.
She claims the police will be handing over the phone and the allegations to investigators in Germany and Poland.
The 41-year-old psychic told The Sun that “Police are taking this very seriously and have assured me that a full investigation will be done.”
Julia, however, denied the accusations, stating that she was in contact with Polish police over the matter.
She claimed that if any indecent images were found on her phone, they must have been put there by someone else.
Julia stated that she purchased her phone from an unknown person and added that she is not a “paedo”.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson stated that while it is investigating Dr Johannson’s claims, the inquiry is not yet a criminal one.
The office declined to provide specific details of the case.
It is not clear if the police have yet found any evidence of child pornography on Julia’s phone.
Julia spent months claiming that she might have been Madeleine McCann, arguing that she had similar physical features to her, including a freckle on her leg and a speck in her eye.
A DNA ancestry test, however, revealed that Julia was biologically Polish, not English.
Despite this, she has said that she does not believe the results of the test and plans to take another one.
It is yet unclear if the allegations against Julia will be proven or not, and investigations are still ongoing.
