Wingstop is set to open in the Brewery Quarter of Cardiff

A popular American fast food chain, Wingstop, is set to open in the Brewery Quarter of Cardiff in late April or early May of this year.

The restaurant will specialise in chicken wings and will replace the former Busaba, which closed down after just over a year of operation.

This will be the first Wingstop in Wales, with the company having over 1,700 locations worldwide, operating and franchising.

Lemon Pepper Holdings Ltd, the UK master franchisee and brand partner of Wingstop Restaurants Inc., has signed the new lease in Cardiff.

The company owns and operates 30 Wingstop locations across the UK, including major cities like Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London, as of March this year.

According to Tom Grogan, the director of Lemon Pepper Holdings, the company is excited to be opening its first Wingstop location in Cardiff.

He believes that the restaurant’s unique flavour profile, premium ingredients, and commitment to excellent customer service will quickly make it a beloved addition to the local dining scene.

The 80+ cover restaurant will have seating for both dine-in and takeaway.

Customers will be able to order in store, online for pickup, or for delivery via Deliveroo.

Wingstop’s menu offers classic wings, boneless wings and tenders, tossed and sauced by hand in 10 distinctive flavours, such as garlic parmesan and spicy Korean.

Other options include seasoned fries and ranch and blue cheese dips.

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Wingstop has become a popular choice for chicken wings lovers across the world.
