Will Peter Shalulile break the PSL goal scoring record TODAY?

At the time of publishing, the Brazilians have scored 52 league goals after 27 matches.

That’s an average of just under two goals per match.

Shalulile has 22 goals himself, equal to, or more than, SEVEN teams have scored in total this season.

The 28-year-old has scored the same number of goals as Chippa United and more than all of the following goal-shy teams: TS Galaxy (21), Marumo Gallants, Maritzburg United and Swallows (all 20), and Sekhukhune United and Baroka FC (both 19).

Peter Shalulile is aiming for the all-time single season goal scoring record of 25 currently held by Zambia’s Collins Mbesuma for Kaizer Chiefs in the 2004/05 season.

Shalulile found the back of the net in Masandawana’s most recent match against Sekhukhune United, leaving him with a maximum of three more matches to score three more goals to tie – or four to surpass – Mbesuma’s long-standing tally.
