Sunday, January 15, at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, Miss USA R’Bonney Gabriel was formally named Miss Universe.

Harnaaz Sandhu of India crowned R’Bonney Gabriel of the United States Miss Universe at the conclusion of the competition held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in Louisiana.

Miss Venezuela Amanda Dudamel was named second runner-up, while Miss Dominican Republic Andreina Martinez was named second runner-up. Miss SA Ndavi Nokeri represented South Africa and placed in the top 16 at the contest.

The title of Miss South Africa Ndavi Nokeri represented South Africa at the Miss Universe contest.

R’Bonney’s age is 28 years. This is the maximum age limit for contestants in the pageant.
