Wan’Dale Robinson’s knee injury rules him out of Sunday’s game

Wan’Dale Robinson, a rookie receiver for the Giants, was ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Lions due to a knee injury.

Robinson, who was selected in the second round of the NFL draft in April, sustained the injury in the second half against the Lions after gaining 100 yards on nine receptions.

Robinson’s injury is the most recent setback for the Giants, who earlier in the day lost cornerback Adoree’ Jackson to a knee injury.

Robinson has already lost time this season due to a knee injury he sustained in the season opener against the Titans. In Week 6, he returned against the Ravens.

In the fourth quarter of Sunday’s contest at MetLife Stadium, the Giants trailed the Lions, 31-12.
