The 41-year-old had been in India and arrived in Melbourne on Thai Airways Flight TG 465 from Bangkok on Monday, December 12.

The aircraft and international arrivals terminal at Melbourne Airport that morning are now exposure sites.

The traveler then spent three days in a prominent shopping district in Moonee Ponds.

The 41-year-old had been in India and arrived in Melbourne on Thai Airways Flight TG 465 from Bangkok on Monday, December 12th.

The traveller then visited a popular shopping strip in Moonee Ponds over several days. Moonee Ponds Central, Woolworths, Aldi, Fresh on Young fruit shop and Umiyaki restaurant are exposure sites at certain times on December 12 and 13
At specific times on December 12 and 13, Moonee Ponds Central, Woolworths, Aldi, Fresh on Young fruit shop, and Umeyaki restaurant are exposure locations.

On Monday, Tuesday, and Friday of that week, alerts for numerous trains and buses have also been sent.

Anyone who gets symptoms after visiting an exposure site is advised to wear a mask and contact a medical center before seeking treatment.

Early measles symptoms include a runny nose, cough, red eyes, fever, and a rash that typically begins on the face before spreading to the rest of the body.

Since January 2022, six cases have been identified in Victoria among individuals who were not fully immunized and returned from overseas or had contact with those who were.
