Sub Lieutenant Hapinness Collins, Base Information Officer of NNS Beecroft, detailed in an official statement that the confiscated cannabis, spotted off the coast of Lagos Anchorage, weighed a whopping 5,250 kilograms.

The cherry on top? Two foreign suspects were also apprehended in the operation.

Collins revealed that on December 7, 2023, two individuals—Emmanuel Doedcher and Godswil John Olamide—both hailing from Ghana, were taken into custody as part of this major seizure.
