In a community close to the frontlines, the 82-year-old is spotted resting next to shell holes.

He was seeking food as he made his way toward the post office, which has been shuttered for three months.

The guy collapsed to the ground while attempting to grab something to eat since he was weak and hungry.

He was found by the military as he lay on the muddy ground without any shoes on.

The troops then helped him up while shouting, “Come on, let’s get up,” while the video continued.

Have you taken off your shoes? ‘Get up,’ they said.

But the weak and suffering guy said, “How?” He sat up and said, “My feet can’t support me,” his hands coated in dirt.

He began demonstrating his residence to soldiers who asked him where he resided.

The troops handed the 82-year-old his dirty shoes and helped him slowly start to get up.

As they departed the scene, one of the troops was seen carrying the 82-year-old on his back.

It occurs while the conflict in Ukraine rages on and days after a family dog whose owners had been murdered by a missile strike was discovered in the wreckage of his house.
