Ukraine war: Food Authenticity Network creates new information resource base for stakeholders

In order to direct stakeholders to information about any potential or actual disruptions to the food and beverage supply chain as a result of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the Food Authenticity Network has developed a new information resource base.

Three headings serve as the structure for the information:

  • Government Information
  • Industry information
  • Events

In response to Recommendation 4 of the Elliott Review into the Integrity and Assurance of Food Supply, which highlighted the need for standardized testing approaches, LGC established the Food Authenticity Network in July 2015 with funding from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).
