ABU DHABI, 30th June, 2022 (WAM) — President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan granted Andreas Liebmann, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the UAE, the First-Class Order of Zayed II award in appreciation of his efforts during his tenure in the country, which contributed to the development of bilateral relations in many fields.
Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, awarded Liebmann the award during a meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Abu Dhabi.
Al Hashemy wished the ambassador success in his work, praising his role in strengthening the distinguished relations between the UAE and Austria in all fields.
For his part, Andreas Liebmann expressed his deep appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, praising his leadership, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, underscoring the UAE’s achievements during the past 50 years, which reflect the leadership’s ambition to continuously raise the UAE’s status in all fields.
Liebmann concluded by thanking all government entities in the country for their cooperation, which contributed to the success of his mission in reinforcing ties between the two countries.
