Two odd bags may hold evidence in a bikie’s ‘horrific’ stabbing death

As a search is begun for three individuals and a fourth is accused of weapons offences, two mysterious bags may contain crucial information about the ‘horrific’ stabbing murder of a Comanchero bikie gang affiliate.

Levi Johnston, 23, who had a face tattoo, passed away on Monday at 1 p.m. after being assaulted by five males at the intersection of Pine Mountain and Creek roads in Carindale, south of Brisbane.

Three other guys who fled in a white Nissan Patrol are still at large, but one man, 34, who was detained nearby shortly after the incident was accused with having a handgun and explosives.

The inquiry is actively being conducted by Taskforce Maxima, a specialised police team dedicated to investigating illegal biker gangs.

In a gym parking lot, a black Audi hatchback originally stopped the deceased man’s vehicle before a Nissan four-wheel drive slammed it from the other side.

The two bags that were subsequently discovered nearby, according to the police, came from the Audi.

The 23-year-old got out of his car via the passenger door and fled as five guys jumped out of the attackers’ vehicles and began breaking the windows of the victim’s vehicle.

He was pursued by two males to a neighbouring residential street, where one of them reportedly repeatedly stabbed him.

Four males left the scene in the Nissan, while a fifth escaped but was apprehended after being located by police dogs.

According to Detective Superintendent Andrew Massingham, the assault, which took place in front of the public, was quite troubling.

He said at the scene on Monday that “these individuals were really driven to track this man down.”

“This whole encounter was recorded on CCTV.” I’ve seen the CCTV, and it’s horrifying and shocking.

We are unsure of the reason for what happened, if preparation was done, or whether an earlier incident in the neighbourhood progressed.

What was obvious was their desire to seriously injure this person,

The gym was closed on Tuesday morning except for a few pre-scheduled sessions, and others were turned away at the entrance.

As volunteers looked through the bushes and the streets around for leads, a State Emergency Service tent was erected up in the parking lot.

The murder weapon seems to be the main focus of the investigation.

One of the suspected assassins was found hiding in a park as four police divers in wetsuits and metal detectors went across a stream close by.

Mr. Johnston, who is not believed to have been a patched member, was a close friend of a Comanchero bikie group in Brisbane.

He had already been stabbed in a battle with members of the notorious bikie group on the Gold Coast a year before.

Whether the two instances are related is unknown.

The assault on Monday, said to Superintendent Massingham, was “a distressing act, it is a blatant act… It’s a cowardly act.

In “less than five seconds,” he said, the stabbing was over.

Off-duty medical staff attempted to assist the victim at the site, but they were unable to rescue him, Superintendent Massingham told reporters.

Police are apparently looking into whether the stabbing is related to motorcycle gang operations, despite the fact that the motive for the death is unclear.

Up to 50 individuals were reportedly there, and the gym was evacuated, according to a witness.

Another reported seeing cops chasing a man away from the gym up a hill.

They said that “police were rerouting traffic.”

Then, paramedics were treating to a person on the ground who didn’t seem to be in good health across the street from the gym.

There was a sizable audience there, and everyone had their phones out to record the event.

“Many police officers, paramedics, and a helicopter are on the site.”

The Pine Mountain and Creek Road junction in Carindale was blocked by police who were on the scene.

The investigation into a homicide by stabbing has included SES volunteers (shown).

Following a “horrific” stabbing murder in Queensland, SES personnel are seen searching for leads.

On Tuesday, the victim will undergo a post-mortem examination, according to Superintendent Massingham.

According to him, the lawsuit has received substantial funding, and he anticipates a “quick outcome.”

Police have urged individuals to come forward as witnesses and to provide them any dashcam video they may have.
