Tweeps slam Moshe Ndiki as ‘Mntase’ host saying ‘He is not the right fit’

Moshe Ndiki has bagged the second season of Mntase, a TV show that will air from 22 October on Mzansi Wethu (Channel 163 on DStv).

The Gomora actor has expressed his excitement about his new gig, but his credibility has been questioned by Tweeps.

The first season was hosted by life coach, author, radio host and businesswoman Lungi Magwaza and featured the real-life stories of siblings (blood-related or chosen family) whose feuds have left their families to stage an intervention as a last resort, according to Mzansi Magic’s website.

MOSHE HAS BIG SHOES TO FILL

It seems tweeps have it in their minds that Moshe will not be able to fill Lungi’s shoes.

At this point, the show is just vibes. What qualifies him to be a presenter that deals with sensitive issues in peoples lives. Moshe who has been accused of domestic violence. This is wrong on all levels. The media industry is truly corrupt.

At times I wish we could be given feedback as viewers as to what prompted the changes of presenters. Moshe is a great presenter but for a show like this, replacing a life coach…?? Is it about the numbers or are they saying Lungi did not do great? Respect to Moshe.

The actor has not said anything about the backlash but he is excited about the new show.

IS HE NOT A GOOD ACTOR?

Moshe has been getting a lot of backlash for his role on Gomora. A lot of viewers of the show believe that he could not differentiate between himself and the character Mr Faku. Some fans even said that he is failing at his job.

Mzansi Magic maintains that Mr Faku’s suspension is not permanent.

“Storylines often change and episodes are shot in advance. The Faku suspension storyline was in place prior to the fight between Moshe and Musa thus it’s completely unrelated.”
