Tucker is thrilled that Bill de Blasio will teach at Harvard and visits NYC

On Wednesday, Bill de Blasio was seen walking around New York City while Fox News host Tucker Carlson attacked him mercilessly for his recent announcement that he will be teaching at Harvard.

De Blasio, 61, said on Wednesday that he will be working as a teaching fellow at the university’s departments of public health and government this September.

The very unpopular Democrat declared his candidacy for Congress in May but withdrew in July when it became evident he had no chance of winning.

Longtime de Blasio opponent Carlson chuckled at his appointment on Wednesday night, saying it was “to pay for his pot habit.”

Carlson remarked, “He attempted to run for Congress, but nobody wanted to vote for him.”

So, if you’re Bill de Blasio, what do you do?

You must pay for your marijuana habit. How do you travel?

Well, Bill de Blasio would get hired in one location in America. Boston University.

De Blasio said that he was thrilled to be a professor at the institution in Massachusetts.

Online allegations of frequent marijuana usage have followed the progressive lawmaker for a long time without any proof. He said that despite having tried marijuana as a youngster, he hasn’t smoked since college. Despite his early opposition, he did praise the legalization of marijuana in New York in 2021.

His daughter Chiara said that she overused alcohol and marijuana when she experienced depression. His wife, Chirlane McCray, has been vocal about trying to quit using marijuana via counseling.

De Blasio, who Carlson said “oversaw the rebirth of the bubonic plague in New York,” was mocked for Harvard’s hire.

You can’t claim Bill de Blasio doesn’t get things done, said Carlson.

It only took him eight years to essentially ruin the largest metropolis in the nation.

He said, “It’s quantifiable. There was a 65% increase in homelessness under De Blasio. people with drug addictions who live on the streets.

He infected government officials with small business owners throughout the outbreak.

“He destroyed the life of everyone who refused to take the COVID vaccination, forcing workers of private companies to do so.

So it seems sense that after serving in politics, Bill de Blasio would have a successful career as a homeless person.

He said, “I am VERY hopeful about the generation of leaders and activists coming up.”

It will be an honor to share the insights I’ve acquired through my decades of public service.

“We CAN create big, forward-thinking change, is my main message to them. I am aware because I experienced it.

De Blasio, who held the office of mayor from 2014 to 2021, will participate in “a range of conversations, activities, and programs” at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics.

In addition, he will teach lectures at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health on leadership and civic engagement.

The former acting mayor of Boston, Kim Janey, will also work as a fellow at the school of public health.

Dean Michelle A. Williams commented, “We are delighted to welcome Mayor de Blasio and Mayor Janey to campus as Menschel Senior Leadership Fellows.”

According to Williams, both authorities had to deal with the COVID-19, homelessness, and the drug crisis as well as other public health concerns.

Students who want to lead in other areas as well as those who want to run for public office would find their ideas and guidance to be of great value, she said.

De Blasio will be joined by other colleagues at the Institute of Politics, including former Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven.

De Blasio’s “decades of experience in local government, federal agencies, national campaigns, and administering the biggest city in the country will bring essential insight to our students and the Harvard community,” according to Setti Warren, the institute’s interim director.

Due to term restrictions, De Blasio, a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan who was born and raised in Massachusetts, was unable to run for a third four-year term as mayor.

De Blasio toyed with the idea of running for governor of New York this year after a failed bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. He also made a short run for a congressional seat in his Brooklyn neighborhood.

Daniel Goldman, a former federal prosecutor and Trump impeachment lawyer, won the Democratic primary for that position on Tuesday.
