According to a footage uploaded to YouTube by Andrew Leyden, the former president arrived at Dulles International Airport wearing white athletic shoes and hopped into a black SUV with tinted windows.

Trump has a golf facility in Virginia, but given the wet weather for Monday, it’s unlikely he raced there for a game.

Amid the Justice Department’s explosive investigation into his handling of secret documents after leaving office, his unexpected journey to the nation’s capital has sparked rumors that he may be facing an indictment or other legal action.

Trump was observed leaving Dulles at approximately 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening, based on the video.

The ex-president was photographed descending the steps of his private plane wearing a significantly less formal outfit than usual.

The top buttons of Trump’s white shirt were undone, and he also looked to be wearing a brown jacket and black pants.

He initially sparked suspicions when his motorcade abruptly left Trump’s Bedminster golf course before to a brief excursion (pictured heading to Morristown Airport in New Jersey)

‘I proceeded on the toll road, his motorcade followed after me, and then they just vanished – I suppose they headed north to his golf course around Leesburg or somewhere,’ Leyden said in his video after capturing Trump’s arrival.

It looked that Trump was going without his family.

Agents of the Secret Service, who typically provide security for current and former presidents, were not immediately seen in the video.

Notably, since his arrival at Dulles, the former president has been silent on his social media network Truth Social.

It appears he was arrested, but without handcuffs. In what location did he spend the night? Richard Signorelli, a former federal prosecutor, said on Twitter on Monday morning.

I cannot think of a better explanation than a possible semi-medical emergency. The future will shortly reveal.

DailyMail.com has reached out to a representative for Trump for comment.

It comes less than 24 hours before the deadline for his legal team to oppose the Justice Department’s appeal requesting a court to overturn an earlier order allowing Trump’s request for a special master to review materials that the FBI seized from his residence last month.

Trump’s attorneys have until 10 a.m. to respond. In a court filing on Thursday, the Justice Department warned that Judge Aileen Cannon’s ruling would do irreparable harm to national security.

Trump is entangled in numerous legal disputes emanating from his tenure as US president.

Additionally, federal prosecutors are seeking a reversal of Cannon’s stay on their probe, specifically with regard to sensitive records.

The judge ordered the FBI to cease utilizing the confiscated classified papers until the special master’s review for privilege claims was complete.

Friday follow-ups from both the Justice Department and Trump’s team indicate disagreements over the scope of a special master review.

Both sides nominated two candidates that night.

The Justice Department recommended former Southern District of New York Judge Barbara Jones, who presided over the investigations of Michael Cohen and Rudy Giuliani as a special master.

It also proposed retired D.C. officials. Judge Thomas Griffith of the court of appeals.

Trump’s staff selected a former U.S. chief judge. Raymond Dearie, District Court for the Eastern District of New York, is one of their two candidates.

While serving on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, Dearie issued a search order to monitor Carter Page, a 2016 campaign advisor for Trump.

They also offered attorney Paul Huck Jr., a longtime advisor to Democratic Representative Charlie Crist when he was Florida’s Republican governor.

Even about the duration of the review, the opposing parties disagreed.

The Justice Department requested its completion within a month, by October 17.

Trump, who was notorious in his business career for attempting to delay and confuse legal challenges, requested a 90-day window. It would not be done until after the midterm elections in November.
