The Canadian Prime Minister was recorded performing Freddie Mercury’s renowned song at an unplanned session at the Corinthia Hotel in London during the formal period of grief just days before the royal funeral of Her Majesty.

The 50-year-old Canadian premier landed in England on Monday morning, following Queen Elizabeth’s death, to join other world leaders at her grand burial.

At the central London hotel, Trudeau was spotted singing impromptu songs with other members of his formal delegation while wearing a casual maroon T-shirt.

Gregory Charles, a prominent musician from Quebec, is said to have played the piano while others contributed to the song.

However, the uncovered footage has sparked online outrage, with many criticizing the prime minister for his jovial behavior barely 48 hours before the Queen’s funeral at Westminster Abbey and her burial.
