Travis Scott set to headline the “Day N Vegas” concert slated for Labor Day

Travis Scott will headline the “Day N Vegas” concert on Labor Day, eleven months after the deadly Astroworld festival in 2021.

This will be the rapper’s first headline performance in nearly a year. Scott, along with Sza and J. Cole, will perform at the “D N Vegas” concert.

Playboi Carti, 21 Savage, Baby Keem, Summer Walker, H.E.R., Jhene Aiko, Trippie Redd, Jorja Smith, Pusha T, Joji, Aminé, City Girls, T-Pain, Freddie Gibbs, Steve Lacy, Tems, Syd, Sabrina Claudio, and others are among the artists set to perform at the concert.

The hip-hop event will take place from September 2nd to 4th.

Scott was scheduled to perform at the 2021 “Day N Vegas” concert a week after his Astroworld festival last year, but his appearance was canceled due to the tragedy.

Over 4,900 people were injured at Astroworld, according to the most current assessment by attorneys representing victims. A court case filed on May 10 listed a total of 4,932 alleged victims. Aside from the 10 people who died, the latest lawsuit says that 732 people required “intense medical therapy” and 1,649 others required less intensive care. Another 2,540 people were labeled as “other,” implying that the severity of their injuries was yet unknown.

Travis Scott performed at the Billboard Music Awards last month for the first time since the 2021 Astroworld tragedy.

In his first broadcast performance since the Astroworld festival disaster, the rapper performed his songs “Mafia” and “Lost Forever.”
