Tomasz, who lived with his mother Kamila Wisniewska and younger brother, was described by those who knew him as a “friend to so many” on the Springwell estate, which had been his primary residence for the majority of his life.

His family migrated from Wroclaw in south-western Poland to Springwell, where his mother obtained employment at a local biscuit factory and the family quickly became well-liked members of the town.

Tomasz was a football enthusiast who played for the Cleveland Hall junior football squad.

Paul Howson, his under-15s coach, created a GoFundMe campaign to assist the family, which had raised nearly £12,000 by Wednesday noon.

Paul eulogized Tomasz as follows: ‘On behalf of myself and Tomasz’s coaches, we are all very saddened to learn of the tragic events that transpired on October 3, 2022, resulting in Tomasz’s untimely passing on October 4, 2022.

A 13-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of aiding a criminal remains in custody as well.

‘Tomasz was a very kind, caring young man, he was brought to the UK by his parents for a better life and didn’t deserve what has happened to him.

‘He was liked and loved by many; he was a very passionate footballer who we all had the pleasure of coaching.

‘He was a much loved member of his local community and will be sadly missed by all who loved him.

‘This is every parent’s worst nightmare come true and we can’t imagine what they are going through.’

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tomasz’s family, friends, and all who knew him.Emergency crews were called to the Aycliffe Crescent area of the Springwell Estate just after 8pm on Monday, where they found the teenage boy suffering from a stab injury.

The death of the boy shook the local community, with neighbors going out in droves to place flower tributes in Tomasz’s honor.

Glenisa Milasiute, 37, who has lived in the region for four years with her partner and two young children, ages one and three, expressed shock.

The administrator stated, “This is not the finest neighborhood, but you expect people to steal and not kill.”

It’s just sad.

It makes me hesitant to venture out into the neighborhood.

The council should consider installing surveillance cameras to help us feel safer.

My companion went to the stores and discovered that something was occurring.

The neighbors informed him that someone had been stabbed.

He stated that he heard children shouting, but only like children do when they are hanging out.

Typically, our children do not play on the street, but it is a concern.

We were previously considering relocating, but this has increased our interest in doing so.

A senior citizen reported, “I heard the ambulance last night, and the blue lights shined through my window.”

“It’s a great surprise. It’s such a shame, the boy was just a youngling. Two lives were lost.

Another homeowner stated, “I’m not surprised, but the fact that they’re children is shocking.”

“As a child, he did not merit to lose his life.

It’s today’s youth and everything they watch on the internet.’

Another neighbor, who did not wish to be identified, stated, “We noticed the boys racing about yelling and screaming at approximately 8:00 p.m. – there were about four boys who ran by.”

My partner was out smoking when she called an ambulance and waited with the victim until they arrived.

Another neighbor, Ella, who requested to be identified only by her first name, said, “I heard screams when I was putting my daughter to bed, and about 10 minutes later, when I was taking out the trash, I noticed all the police cars.”

“When I asked my neighbor across the street if everything was okay, she informed me that her son’s buddy had been stabbed and police were attempting to revive him. She was crying, and she was utterly distraught.

She stated that they attended school together and that he was a good child.

Today has been really somber. It’s sad that my son plays outside in the street. You do not anticipate it occurring where you reside. It is a concern for our children.

There were a few incidences during the six-week summer break involving misbehaving youngsters, but this is not typical.

Chief Superintendent Barron remarked, “We ask that the public refrain from speculating about the investigation’s specifics.”
