Toddler “catches fire” in seconds in front of gas heater

After a toddler was set ablaze by a heater, Australian parents have been reminded to keep a close eye on their home heating systems.

His mother stated that she was in the bathroom at the time, but fortunately her husband detected the odor of something burning.

The parent stated, “My son didn’t even realize he was on fire; my husband smelled it, saw the flame, and responded immediately.”

He was in its vicinity for less than thirty seconds before he caught fire!

The startled mother sent a photo of her son’s pajamas with a large hole burned through the back to the Instagram page of Tiny Hearts Education, a first aid organization for Australian parents.

Every two years, parents have been asked to have their gas heaters serviced.

Additionally, all flammable products must be kept at least one metre away, and parents must ensure that their children maintain this distance.

Additionally, Australians must remember to switch off their heaters before going to bed.
